Artwork on T-Shirts and Sweatshirts

We've never invested in any of the multitude of T shirts available, so apologies for some of the older images presented here which are representative only and have in some cases been taken from the original adverts. Still, they give the general idea... Thanks to goth for a couple of the images... Fantaco Fantaco / Dread Fantaco (the company behind Fangoria and Gorezone) together with Dread (the first Clive Barker fan club) made a total of 19 different pieces of art available as T shirts between 1991 and 1993 (including the Paintings and Drawings and Books of Blood ones below). The short sleeve white shirts above (designs 1 - 10) retailed @ $14.95 and designs 11 and 12 @ $15.95. Certain of the designs were also available as long sleeve shirts at $19.95. When Dread folded its successor, Lost Souls, sold the remaining stocks as well as producing three of their own shirts. Paintings and Drawings 1973 - 1993 A white or black T shirt featuring the That Which Is Imagined Need Never Be Lost image and commemorating the 1993 Bess Cutler Gallery New York exhibition. Price $14.95. Books of Blood White T shirts featuring full colour reproductions of Barker's art for the six Books of Blood. Prices ranged from $14.95 to $19.95. We haven't found an advert for 5 and 6 - sorry ! The first three were also available as long sleeve shirts @ $24.95 and as sweatshirts @ $34.95. 40 Cycle Hum Book Of Blood III 40 Cycle Hum use the Book Of Blood cover art for a black T shirt promoting Entertaining Misery. Coenobium The Hellbound Heart A black T shirt featuring the early Pinhead cenobite design. Price $20.00. The Clive Barker Appreciation Society Clive Barker Appreciation Society The CBAS used this Weaveworld piece for members' shirts... Lost Souls Lost Souls Each of these three designs was available in black and white, bore the Lost Souls logo and retailed @ $20.00. 'Rictus' and 'Friend Of The Ghost Boy' shown below. Lost Souls black denim 'staff' shirt with logo and a negative version of an untitled character rough by Barker and quotation taken from Everville. Hellraiser Hellraiser Promotional shirt for Hellraiser. Nightbreed / Cabal Nightbreed Possibly a fan-produced shirt featuring Button-face and that famous quote... Nightbreed One of Clive's Rorschach designs adorns this Nightbreed crew T-shirt from 1989... KFJC KFJC Design Clive drew this T-shirt design for the San Francisco radio station KFJC but, to our knowledge, they've never yet produced the shirts themselves - shame... Primal Wear Bush Baby, Bugged The Warrior Knight And Day Hole Cat, Blue Moon Elect Rick shirt, Tea Time women's set, Moon Me cycling shorts Primal Wear The most ambitious creations to date, the Clive Barker Signature Series of cycling shirts was created in collaboration with Alann Boatright and launched at the International Bicycle Expo in 2003. Subsequently, the range expanded to accomodate cycle wear for women and children including shorts and sports tops, although the range now appears to have been discontinued... Graphic Gear The same artwork was used for a subsequent range of standard T-shirts produced by Graphic Gear in 2004 and retailing at $18.95 each. Unfortunately, Graphic Gear no longer appears to have an online presence... Fangoria 2009 Death, Mask Produced ahead of the Fangoria 2009 Weekend of Horrors in Los Angeles, these were limited to 250 shirts in each design, retailing at $20 apiece. Artsprojekt - Imagining Man Imagining Man Launched with the Abarat and Skulls tee shirts in the first wave of the Artsprojekt range in December 2009, these use three recent Imagining Man images and currently retail through Zazzle in all shapes, sizes and prices...
