News - Spook City Anthology

...Even a casual glance at our bookshelves will reveal a preponderance of 'PS' logos on the spines and so we are extremely happy to announce that Pete Crowther's PS Publishing will be releasing a new anthology featuring Clive's work. Currently planned for an September 2009 release and edited by Angus Mackenzie (a Liverpudlian himself), Spook City is a collection of work by three Liverpudlian writers which reflects the darker side of the city of Liverpool. Alongside three of Clive's tales from the early 1980s - Dread, The Forbidden and Coming to Grief - is a specially commissioned story from Pete Atkins, The Mystery, and a non-fiction piece, Coming To Liverpool, by Ramsey Campbell. Additional Liverpudlian involvement comes in the form of Adrian Henri's cover artwork and an introduction by Doug Bradley. PS Publishing are producing two editions - an unsigned hardcover edition and a deluxe, jacketed and slipcased hardcover limited to 250 signed and numbered copies at £125. The deluxe edition will showcase additional artwork by Clive - The Stitchlings Howl will be used as dustjacket art and Two Witches will feature on the signing sheet.
