Clive on Alas, Poor Yorock

On the windswept battlements of a castle, a young man meets the ghost of his father, who has escaped hell for a few agonized moments.


Written in 1994 for Entertainment Weekly, on the release of The Flintstones movie, 32 writers were invited to test the benefits of collaborative scriptwriting... Each author was only allowed sight of the previous two contributions, with Clive given perhaps the easiest task - to kick things off with a single sentence (above), which was accompanied by the 'storyboard' below.
